Itinerary

Day 1
Bangalore - Amritsar ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು - ಅಮೃತಸರ
Depart to Amritsar by flight as scheduled. Arrive at Amritsar check into Hotel. Upon arrival, visit the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. In the evening, visit the Wagha Border for the Indo-Pak Border ceremony. Return to Amritsar for an overnight stay.

Day 2
Amritsar- Katra ಅಮೃತಸರ- ಕಟ್ರಾ
Early morning, after freshening up, proceed to Katra (250 kms) passing through, Pathankot. Reach Katra by night. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.

ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ, ಫ್ರೆಶ್ ಆದ ನಂತರ, ಪಠಾಣ್‌ಕೋಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಟ್ರಾ (250 ಕಿ.ಮೀ) ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ. ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ರಾತಲುಪಿ. ಹೋಟೆಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಕ್ ಇನ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಿಡೀ ಇರಿ.

Day 3
Katra ಕಟ್ರಾ
After breakfast, proceed to the Registration Counter to register and collect the RFID based Yatra Access Card for the Vaishno Devi Yatra. Start the trek from Banganga (Trek starting point) to Vaishno Devi Temple, which is approximately 13 kilometers and takes 4-6 hours to complete on foot. Alternatively, you can opt for a horse or pony ride. Helicopter service is also available with prior booking required. Return to Katra for an overnight stay.

Katra - Jammu ಕಟ್ರಾ- ಜಮ್ಮು
Today after breakfast as per flight timings we will move to the airport for further journey.

Temple Customs & Dress Code

Traditional and modest attire is recommended while visiting Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple and the Golden Temple. Footwear must be removed before entering religious premises. RFID registration is mandatory for the Vaishno Devi Yatra. Guests are requested to respect temple customs, maintain cleanliness, and follow the instructions issued by temple authorities. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the Vaishno Devi trek.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • If a guest decides to cancel the tour, they must submit a written application along with the original receipt within the specified time limit. Cancellation charges apply as follows:

  • 0 to 15 days prior to departure: 100% of Net Tour Price per person.

  • 15 to 30 days prior to departure: 75% of Net Tour Price per person.

  • 31 to 45 days prior to departure: 50% of Net Tour Price per person.

  • 46 to 365 days prior to departure: 25% of Net Tour Price or Rs. 10,000/- (whichever is more).

  • If a refund is applicable, the amount will be transferred to the bank account you provided. Please allow up to 5 working days after processing for the refund to reflect in your account.

    In case the trip is cancelled by management for extraordinary reasons, a full refund will be issued via account payee cheque upon presentation of the original provisional receipt. No additional compensation will be provided by management.

Expect pleasant weather during most of the year. Winters can be quite cold, especially in Katra during early morning and night. Rainfall may occur during the monsoon season.

Clothing & Packing Guide

Carry comfortable walking shoes, light woollen clothing (during winter), umbrella or raincoat (during monsoon), reusable water bottle, personal medicines, sunglasses, sunscreen, cap, torch for early morning trekking, valid Government Photo ID and a small backpack for the trek.

Baggage

Carry light luggage for convenient hotel transfers and pilgrimage. Keep only essential items while undertaking the Vaishno Devi trek.
Vaishno Devi Yatra

RFID Yatra Registration is mandatory before starting the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.

The trek from Banganga to Bhawan is approximately 13 km one way.

Pony, Doli and Helicopter services are available at additional cost, subject to availability.

Temple Dress Code

Traditional and modest attire is recommended while visiting Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple and the Golden Temple.

Golden Temple Guidelines

Visitors must cover their head before entering the Golden Temple. Footwear must be removed, and cleanliness and silence should be maintained inside the temple premises.

Temple Photography

Photography may be restricted inside temple premises. Guests are requested to follow the instructions issued by the temple authorities.

Shopping

Guests can purchase Prasad, Rudraksha Malas, Religious Souvenirs, Dry Fruits, Punjabi Phulkari Items, Woollen Garments, Handicrafts and Local Sweets from Amritsar and Katra.
An experienced Kannada-speaking Tour Manager will accompany the group throughout the journey and assist with airport transfers, hotel check-in, sightseeing, pilgrimage arrangements and local coordination.

Medical assistance will be arranged wherever possible. Any medical expenses, emergency transportation or hospital charges shall be borne by the guest.

Wheelchair assistance at airports or pilgrimage locations is subject to availability and local regulations.
Vaishno Devi Yatra timings, RFID registration, helicopter services, pony services, road conditions, weather conditions and Shrine Board regulations are subject to change without prior notice.

Guests are requested to follow the Tour Manager's instructions throughout the journey for a safe, comfortable and spiritually enriching pilgrimage.
