After arriving at Bagdogra Airport, you will be transferred to Phuentsholing. Upon arrival in Phuentsholing, you will complete the permit formalities and check into your hotel. Explore Simply Bhutan, a living museum and photo studio that provides an introduction to various aspects of Bhutanese traditional life. Visit Zilukha Nunnery, known for its peaceful surroundings and beautiful views of Tashichho Dzong. End the day at Kaja Throm, the riverside farmer’s market, for fresh produce and local snacks. After descending into Wangdue and Punakha, visit the Punakha Dzong, an architectural marvel situated at the confluence of the Phochu and Mochu rivers. Explore the Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest of its kind in Bhutan, connecting the dzong with nearby villages. Overnight stay in Punakha at an altitude of 1350 meters.

In Paro, visit the Paro Airport View Point, offering the best view of the airport. Explore Ta Dzong, the National Museum housed in a former watchtower, and the 17th-century Paro Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese architecture. Spend the evening exploring Paro town, known for its handicraft shops and small restaurants. Overnight stay in Paro at an altitude of 2200 meters.

This day can be spent exploring the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), a sacred Buddhist site perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. For those who prefer an alternative, an excursion to Chele La Pass offers spectacular views of Mt. Jomolhari and a scenic drive through rhododendron and pine forests. Overnight stay in Paro.

Note: The trek to Taktsang Monastery is a moderate to challenging hike, taking about 2-3 hours each way for an average hiker. Wear comfortable and sturdy trekking shoes.

Paro to Phuentsholing ಪಾರೋ - ಫುಯೆಂಟ್ಶೋಲಿಂಗ್‌
After breakfast, drive back to Phuentsholing. This journey provides another chance to enjoy the scenic landscapes and stop at places like Kharbandi/Rinchending Gompa, a monastery offering panoramic views of Phuentsholing and the Toorsa River. Spend the evening shopping for Bhutanese souvenirs and agro products. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • If a guest decides to cancel the tour, they must submit a written application along with the original receipt within the specified time limit. Cancellation charges apply as follows:

  • 0 to 15 days prior to departure: 100% of Net Tour Price per person.

  • 15 to 30 days prior to departure: 75% of Net Tour Price per person.

  • 31 to 45 days prior to departure: 50% of Net Tour Price per person.

  • 46 to 365 days prior to departure: 25% of Net Tour Price or Rs. 10,000/- (whichever is more).

  • If a refund is applicable, the amount will be transferred to the bank account you provided. Please allow up to 5 working days after processing for the refund to reflect in your account.

    In case the trip is cancelled by management for extraordinary reasons, a full refund will be issued via account payee cheque upon presentation of the original provisional receipt. No additional compensation will be provided by management.
