Itinerary
Day 1 : Bangalore – Bagdogra.
Depart from Bangalore to Bagdogra. Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, proceed to Siliguri for breakfast. Continue your journey to Gangtok and check into your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 : Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir – Nathula Pass – Gangtok
After breakfast, embark on a jeep tour to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, and Nathula Pass. Return to Gangtok in the evening for overnight stay.

Note: Alternate sightseeing is provided if Tsomgo Lake is closed due to landslides or other reasons.
• Nathula Pass visit is subject to permit availability from the army and weather conditions. Bring 2 passport size photographs and your Aadhaar card/Voter ID for the permit.
• Nathula Pass is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
Day 3 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore local attractions like Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Do-Drul Chorten, and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology using a small cab. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Note: Due to local restrictions, smaller vehicles like WagonR, Sumo, Tavera, or Xylo are used for sightseeing in Gangtok & Darjeeling
Day 4 : Gangtok – Darjeeling
Proceed to Darjeeling. Check into your hotel upon arrival in the evening. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 5 : Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Start early at 4:30 am to visit Tiger Hill for a spectacular sunrise view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Afterward, visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop War Memorial, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and Japanese Peace Pagoda. Explore the Mall and local market. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Note: Small vehicles are used for local sightseeing in Darjeeling.
• Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and the local market are closed on Thursdays.
Day 6 : Train Journey – NJP to Kolkata
Depart early at 4:30 am for NJP. Board the train to Kolkata and enjoy the scenic journey. Arrive in Kolkata by evening and check into your hotel for overnight stay.

Note: Train travel from NJP to Kolkata offers scenic views and is generally safer and more comfortable than road travel.
Day 7 : Kolkata
After breakfast, visit Belur Math, Dakshineshwar Kali Temple, and other local attractions. After lunch, explore Science City or indulge in shopping. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8 : Kolkata – Train Journey to Puri
After breakfast, visit Mother House, Kalighat Kali Temple, Victoria Memorial Hall, Dalhousie Square, Howrah Bridge, Writers' Building, and Eden Gardens Cricket Stadium. Later, proceed to Howrah/Shalimar Railway Station for the train journey to Puri.

Note: Train travel from Kolkata to Puri is typically safer and more comfortable than road travel, offering predictable travel times and reduced exposure to traffic.
Day 9 : Puri
Arrive at Puri Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. After breakfast, visit Jagannath Temple for darshan. Enjoy boating at Chilka Lake, particularly at Satpada to see dolphins, red crabs, and the sea mouth. Return to Puri for overnight stay.

Note: Best time for dolphin boating at Satpada, Chilka Lake, is from November to February.
• Dolphin boating is Additonal costs approximately ₹500 to ₹1000 per person, depending on the duration and operator.
• Puri Jagannath Temple has a specific dress code:
Men must wear dhoti (a traditional cloth wrapped around the waist) without any upper garment or can wear kurta , pyjama.
Women should wear saree, or a salwar kameez with a dupatta.
• Shorts, trousers, skirts, and western-style dresses are not allowed inside the temple premises.
Day 10 : Bhubaneshwar - Konark - Puri
After breakfast, travel to Konark to visit the Sun Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach. Proceed to Bhubaneshwar and visit Dhauli Peace Pagoda. Check into your hotel and visit Lingaraj Temple if time permits. Overnight stay in Bhubaneshwar.
Day 11 : Bhubaneshwar – Bangalore
After breakfast, visit Mukteshwar Temple, Siddheswar Temple, Kedargauri Temple, Rajarani Temple, and Khandagiri & Udayagiri caves. After lunch, visit Nandankanan Zoo. Transfer to Bhubaneshwar Airport for your return flight to Bangalore.

    Cancellation Policy:

             If the guest decides to cancel the tour, they must submit a written application along with the original receipt within the specified time limit. Cancellation charges apply as follows:

    • D-0 to 15 days prior to departure: 100% of Net Tour Price per person.
    • D-15 to 30 days prior to departure: 75% of Net Tour Price per person.
    • D-31 to 45 days prior to departure: 50% of Net Tour Price per person.
    • D-46 to 365 days prior to departure: 25% of Net Tour Price or Rs. 10,000/- (whichever is more).
    •  In case the trip is canceled by management for extraordinary reasons, a full refund will be issued via account payee cheque upon presentation of the original provisional receipt. No additional compensation will be provided by management


    Best Time to Visit:

    • Gangtok and Darjeeling: Best visited from March to June and September to November for pleasant weather.
    • Puri and Chilka Lake: November to February for dolphin boating and pleasant weather.
    • Konark: October to March for comfortable sightseeing at the Sun Temple.

    What to Carry:

    1.Essentials:

    •   Nathula Pass and Tsomgo Lake: Ensure you have 2 passport size photographs and your Aadhaar card/Voter ID for the Nathula Pass permit. Nathula Pass is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
    •   Personal medications and first aid kit.
    •    Water bottles and hydration packs to stay hydrated.

    2. Health and Fitness:

    • The destination at high altitudes. Ensure you are physically fit to undertake the journey.
    • Carry essential medications for altitude sickness, headaches, and any personal medical conditions.

    3. Clothing:

    •  Warm clothing (jackets, sweaters, thermal wear) suitable for cold weather.
    •  Raincoat or poncho in case of rain.
    •  Puri Jagannath Temple: Follow the dress code: Men wear dhoti or kurta pyjama, and women wear saree or salwar kameez with a dupatta. Western-style clothing like shorts, trousers, and skirts are not allowed inside the temple.

    4. Footwear:

    •  Sturdy trekking shoes with good grip.

    5. Miscellaneous:

    •  Torchlight with extra batteries.
    •  Personal toiletries and hygiene essentials. .

    6. Cash and ATMs:

    •  Limited Availability: ATMs are available Sikkim, but it’s advisable to carry enough cash for remote areas where card payments might not be accepted.

    7. Connectivity:

     Only post-paid mobile phones work in Sikkim preferably BSNL, Airtel and Jio. As phones may not work in many places, keep your family members informed well in advance not to worry if they fail to contact you.

    8. Security and Safety:

    •    Follow instructions from security personnel and. Tour Manager’s without question.
    •    Stay within designated routes and avoid straying off the marked paths.

    9. Photography:   Don’t forget to bring your camera or smartphone to capture the stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
