Itinerary
Day 1 : BANGALORE - VARANASI
Today, as planned, we will depart for Varanasi on a flight. We will arrive at Varanasi Airport by and then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Rest until noon. After lunch, we will begin local sightseeing, visiting Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, BHU, Durga Mandir, and Manasa Devi Mandir. In the evening, we will witness the Ganga Aarti before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Notes: Large coaches are restricted from entering Varanasi between 7 AM and 9 PM by local authorities, so we will use smaller vehicles like cruisers for airport transfers.
• Due to the narrow roads in Varanasi, large vehicles cannot reach all destinations comfortably. For your convenience, we will arrange e-rickshaws for local sightseeing on a sharing basis, depending on the group size.
Day 2 : VARANASI
Morning holy dip in the Ganga River and visit Kashi Vishwanatha Temple, Vishalakshi Temple, Annapurna Temple, Hanuman Temple, and Kala Bhairava Temple. Later in the evening, explore the city and enjoy shopping on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : VARANASI – ALLAHABAD (PRAYAGRAJ)
Early in the morning, after freshening up, we will proceed to Allahabad. En-route, we will have breakfast. Upon arrival, we will visit Triveni Sangam and the Hanuman Temple. Later, we will continue our journey to Ayodhya, expecting to reach by evening. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Notes: Visiting Triveni Sangam in Allahabad will be done by boat on a sharing basis depending on the group size.
• Those wishing to take a holy dip at the Sangam should note that there are no changing rooms available for either males or females, so they should make their own alternative arrangements.
Day 4 : AYODHYA – BHAIRAWA
Early in the morning, we will proceed to Ayodhya for local sightseeing. We will visit the Sarayu River, Ram Mandir, and Hanuman Temple. Later, proceed to Bhairawa, reach Bhairawa, and stay overnight.
Day 5 : BHAIRAWA – POKHARA
Start to Pokhara. En-route visit Lumbini – the Birth Place of L ord Buddha. Reach Pokhara and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Notes: Though the distance is relatively short, due to challenging road conditions, the journey from Bhairawa to Pokhara may take longer than expected.

Day 6 : POKHARA –JOMSOM
Wake up early and proceed towards Jomsom by Jeep. On arrival, visit Muktinath Darshan and return to Jomsom. Overnight stay in the hotel at Jomsom.

Notes: Due to challenging road conditions, the journey from Pokhara to Jomsom may take longer than expected. Allow extra time for lunch.
Day 7 : JOMSOM – POKHARA
Start to Pokhara by Jeep from Jomsom. Reach Pokhara and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 8 : POKHARA
Today proceed to Pokhara sightseeing: Phewa Lake, Varahi Temple, Bindhyabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, Davis Falls. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 9 : POKHARA – KATHMANDU VIA MANOKAMANA
Start to Kathmandu by road en-route Manokamana by cable car. After Darshan, proceed to Kathmandu. Evening arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 10 : KATHMANDU
Morning time for Mountain flight to spectacular view of Himalayan ranges, including Mount Everest (optional). After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing: Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayana), Swayambhunath, Boudhanath. In the afternoon, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and other places. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 11 : KATHMANDU – JANAKPUR
Today, after breakfast, start to Janakpur. Duration: Around 8 hours journey, depending on traffic and road conditions. Overnight stay.

Day 12 : JANAKPUR – GAYA
Morning after breakfast, Janakpur local sightseeing: Sita Birthplace, Janki Mandir, Ram Sita Vivah Mandap. Later in the evening, start the overnight journey to Gaya
Day 13 : GAYA
Early morning, after freshening up, proceed to Gaya. Visit Vishnupad Temple and Falgu River. Pilgrims wishing to perform rituals for their ancestors, such as the Pind Daan ceremony at Vishnupad, can do so within the given time. After the rituals, return to the hotel in Bodh Gaya for breakfast. Rest for some time. After lunch, we will explore the local sights, including the Mahabodhi Temple, the 80 Feet Buddha Statue, the Thai Temple, and the Japanese Temple. After our tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay

Notes: If performing rituals like Pind Daan at Vishnupad Temple, adhere to local customs and timings provided by your tour manager.
Day 14 : GAYA – VARANASI – BANGALORE
Start to Varanasi. Reach Varanasi by evening and drop at Varanasi Airport to board a flight to hometown Bangalore.

  • Flight Suggestions:

    • Bhairawa to Pokhara: There are flights available from Gautam Buddha Airport (Bhairawa) to Pokhara Airport, which significantly reduces travel time and avoids challenging road conditions.
    • Pokhara to Jomsom: Consider taking a flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. Flights are available but subject to weather conditions. It’s advisable to book in advance and be flexible with timings.
    • Kathmandu to Janakpur: Flights from Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) to Janakpur Airport can provide a comfortable and faster alternative to road travel.

    Important Note:
    To operate with South Indian chefs and a tour manager, we require a minimum of 20 passengers traveling on the specified date. If the number of passengers is less:

    • You can choose to move to the next available tour date.
    • You may switch to another tour of your choice on a Same date / different date.
    • You can opt for a full refund of the amount paid for this booking. Note that we are not liable for any flight or train cancellation charges applicable to you in such scenario

    Payment Terms:

    • Guests should make a 50% advance payment by Cheque, UPI, Debit/Credit Card, NEFT, RTGS, or IMPS in favor of "Shree Mallikarjuna Travels" along with a duly filled registration form and required documents. The balance payment must be completed 20 days before departure.
    •  A convenience charge of 1.8% applies to debit/credit card payments

    Cancellation Policy:

            If the guest decides to cancel the tour, they must submit a written application along with the original receipt within the specified time limit. Cancellation charges apply as follows:

    • D-0 to 15 days prior to departure: 100% of Net Tour Price per person.
    • D-15 to 30 days prior to departure: 75% of Net Tour Price per person.
    • D-31 to 45 days prior to departure: 50% of Net Tour Price per person.
    • D-46 to 365 days prior to departure: 25% of Net Tour Price or Rs. 10,000/- (whichever is more).
    • In case the trip is canceled by management for extraordinary reasons, a full refund will be issued via account payee cheque upon presentation of the original provisional receipt. No additional compensation will be provided by management
       

    Special Instructions and Do and Don’ts:

    1.    Clothing:

    • Summer: (March to June) Lightweight and breathable clothes like cottons are ideal for the hot weather. Long sleeves and pants can protect from the sun.
    • Winter: (November to February) Carry layers such as sweaters or jackets for cooler mornings and evenings. A shawl or scarf can be handy.
    • Monsoon Season: (July to September)Pack a compact umbrella or a raincoat for sudden showers.Wear modest and respectful attire, especially when visiting temples. Traditional clothing such as sarees for ladies and dhotis for men are recommended.

    2.    Footwear:

    • Comfortable walking shoes or sandals suitable for walking on uneven surfaces and through crowded areas.

    3.    Personal Care

    • Hand sanitizer and wet wipes for hygiene.
    • Personal medications for common ailments like headaches, colds, and upset stomachs.
    • First-aid kit with basic essentials.

    4.    Miscellaneous:

    • A small backpack or bag to carry essentials during sightseeing.
    •  Local currency and small denominations for easy transactions.
